Who are Germany's best trainers? For the third time in a row, Capital has again addressed this question in 2019 by taking a close look at German companies. Among them was teamtechnik - which was awarded five stars out of five. More than 600 companies competed and had to give convincing answers to a whole series of detailed questions, including about learning methods, digitization, and social media marketing.

The business magazine conducted this extensive study with the support of personnel specialists. More than 600 companies took part from every region of the country, including DAX corporations such as BMW and Deutsche Bank, major public companies including Deutsche Bahn (German Railway; with some 10,000 apprentices) and the Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz (Domestic intelligence service). Also present were medium-sized and artisanal enterprises, which likewise demonstrated how they seek young talent and support it. teamtechnik scored top marks thanks to its strengths in support and supervision, on-the-job learning, digitization and innovation. These are important for the company if it is to attract the interest of much sought-after, qualified trainees. Marcel Rütten, team leader for mechanical systems in the Apprentice Training Department at teamtechnik, also stresses that his objectives for apprentice training include ‘... providing scope for development within the training for our apprentices to take an active role in the process. This promotes their independence, which they will need as future specialists in custom machine building.’

The committed trainers at the system-building company were all for participating in the study and were delighted with the positive outcome. Each year teamtechnik seeks up to 15 apprentices and students at Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW), plus specialist personnel for mechatronics, electrical engineering, industrial mechanics, and IT.
