A cell in every 2.25 seconds: The new power stringer TT1600 from teamtechnik has an impressive output of 45 MWp

teamtechnik, world-leading manufacturer of stringer systems has once again broken its own record and is offering an even faster single-track system. The teamtechnik team at SNEC 2014, Stand E3 550, will present a live demonstration of the new power stringer TT1600 with an annual output of 45 MWp.

"We have yet improved the performance of our system by another 200 cycles, giving a cycle time of less than 2.25 seconds", says Axel Riethmüller, Executive Vice President Solar Technology at the teamtechnik Group. With 1600 cycles per hour on one track and with a reliable 24/7 production, the Stringer TT1600 guarantees output at a level that has never been achieved before.

"Only systems with dual soldering lines reach these speeds. We lead the world with our single-track system. This holds true for the speed of the systems and their availability," says Axel Riethmüller. The production of solar cell strings on just one track increases the throughput on each soldering process. Defined and tested processes ensure that quality remains high and keep breakage rates down. At the same time, far fewer spare parts and operators are required than for dual-track systems. This also cuts production costs. Generally speaking, speed is one of the strengths of the teamtechnik Group. The systems are guar-anteed to be supplied quickly even in large volumes. "We can supply five stringers in a week, which is equivalent to 250 MW, so our customers can have even major projects in production in just a few weeks. This applies to individual stringers and also to the 90 MW complete systems which consist of two TT1600 stringers and a layup," says Axel Riethmüller.

teamtechnik is represented in the major markets of the world by its own branches. There are two teamtechnik sites with over 40 service engineers in China alone, which guarantees fast ramp-up times on installation and commissioning. teamtechnik has supplied over 500 high-performance systems around the world. In the fourth quarter of 2013, Chinese solar module manufacturers ordered over 50 machine assemblies from teamtechnik.

Live production

teamtechnik will be giving a live production demonstration at the trade fair in Shanghai on Stand E3 550. The new Stringer TT1600 solders high-quality solar cell strings with IR light technology. Specialists from teamtechnik present the features of the machine assembly in a live commentary.
