Constructed in an exceptionally short time of just 10 months, teamtechnik's largest production hall yet has been completed in time and on schedule. The good order situation for transmission and e-drive testing had made this investment urgently necessary.

In future some 50 skilled employees will be working in the bright space of 2700 square meters, specializing in machine construction and realizing complex test benches in just six to nine months. The first two projects are already in hand: testing systems for the Volkswagen Group and the brand new, electrically driven Porsche Taycan are taking shape in the new hall. In its automotive division, teamtechnik is a specialist for EOL transmission and drive testing for hybrid and electric vehicles.

The expansion of production capacity in Germany is a part of the strategy of the Freiberg-based company that employs about 1000 employees worldwide. Stefan Rosskopf, CEO of teamtechnik: “We are certain that we are on the threshold of a global breakthrough in electromobility, and with our highly-qualified employees we aim to play an active part in shaping this change.”

The company is also drawing on sustainable energy for its own power requirements: the roof of the new hall is equipped with a further teamtechnik photovoltaic system with an output of 210 kWp. The electricity obtained from this directly supplies 6 charging points for e-vehicles and also supplies power to the building.
