2. Social networks

We use 'social plug-ins' from social networks on our web sites.

a) XING Share-Button

The XING Share Button is used in this content. When this Internet page is retrieved, a temporary connection to the XING AG ("XING") servers is set up via the user's browser. They provide the XING Share Button functions (including, but not limited to, the calculation and display of the counter reading). XING does not store any of the user's personal data when this content is retrieved. Furthermore, XING does not store IP addresses, nor is any analysis of usage behavior based on cookie use associated with the "XING Share Button". Users can find updated data privacy-related information about the "XING Share Button" and additional information on this Internet page: www.xing.com/app/share

b) LinkedIn

There are plug-ins from the social network LinkedIn (LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (referred to as "LinkedIn" below) integrated on our pages. You will recognize them by the LinkedIn logo or the "Recommend" button on our page. When you visit our pages, the plug-in is used to set up a direct connection between your browser and the LinkedIn server. LinkedIn receives the information that you have visited the site with your IP address from this connection. If you click on the LinkedIn "Recommend" button when you are logged into your LinkedIn account, you can link to the content on our pages in your LinkedIn profile. This means that LinkedIn can connect your visit to our pages to your user account. We would like to point out that we, as provider of these pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data nor its use by LinkedIn.

3. Integration of services and third-party content

It is possible that third-party content, such as YouTube videos, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other web sites, is integrated in this online content. This presupposes that the providers of this content (referred to as "third-party providers" below) are aware of the user's IP address as, without an IP address, it is not possible for them to send the content to the user's browser, thus making the IP address a requirement for displaying this content. We endeavor only to use content from providers that only use the IP address to deliver the content. However, we have no influence over whether the third-party provider stores the IP address, for example for statistical purposes. In so far as we are aware of this, we will inform users.
